We were able to have some big thrills on the trip as well... we actually were able to see five alligators in the wild! YIKES! In the Everglades! For those of you who know me... you know how much I love swampy areas... not! It was actually very beautiful in a primitive way. The Captain of the Airboat was very informative and humorous. He actually called a couple of the alligators out of the weeds to come to us (like an alligator whisperer!! eek!). They never feed them or train them so it was truly amazing.
